Lost in Space Chariot Rifle

First Season laser rifle seen in one of the series' most memorable episodes, There Were Giants In The Earth. Four of these imposing weapons were stored in a vertical rack toward the back of the Robinson family's Chariot amphibious tracked vehicle, thus the name Chariot Rifle, distinguishing this piece from the radically different laser rifle design which appeared later in the first season.   As with the original props, the master for this replica was created by modifying a Remco 'Monkey Division' Okinawa Gun toy.  (The Remco toy itself was based on the US M60 machine gun.)
